Only in Him.

My first blog. Not so good at writing & may not make much sense but i'm just writing what i'm feeling.

Ive Gone through many hard things and rough times in my life.
but who hasn't right??
I'm pretty sure at a certain point & time in life a person can only go so far 'till they seek & cry out to God,
Realizing they are nothing without Him.
But no matter what I have stayed strong in God's way.
& I am great full because I've known right from wrong from a very young age & He has allowed me to grow in His presence & in His path.

I may not have a miraculous, life and death situation, or very interesting testimony,
but what greater testimony than that of me always being in his presence, Him keeping me safe 18 years & growing up in church following whats right?

I think nothing is greater than that.

But from recent experiences, I can now truly say
that only God will be there for you at the end.

The people who you least expect to walk out on you, Will.
Your mother, father, family, the "significant other", your closest & best friends,
Whom you are so sure, will NEVER hurt you or just walk out on you, can abandon you in a sec.

"I've heard a tale, a man would climb a mountain just to be with the one he loves, how many times has it broken that promise?...it has never been done!"

But no matter what God will always stand by your side to lead you on and to lean on in your rough times.
so now I can really say that nothing in this world is as great or everlasting as the love of God. Because no one in this world will ever be as great as God, no matter how close you may think it might be. It never compares. His Love reaches to the heavens and is as strong as the mighty mountains in this world.

"Who is this King of Glory, that pursues me with His love & haunts me with each hearing of His softly spoken words?.... His name is Jesus."

So rely only on God and not on worldly things because nothing in this world is permanent & surely it will all be gone before you know it. But God & his great love and mercy will always be there. I am greatfull for all my experiences because it has only made me wiser & stronger.
Because I find my strength in the shadows of His wings.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
& lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths. -Proverbs 3:5-7
